USC claims Pac-12 beach volleyball pair of the week again

Pair of the Week: Terese Cannon and Nicolette Martin, USC
• Junior Terese Cannon (Pittsford, N.Y.) and senior Nicolette Martin (Anaheim, Calif.) went 5-0 in dual matches this week to help the Trojans also go 5-0 overall.
• The duo delivered the clinching point in three victories in straight sets, including two sets where they won, 21-9.
• The tandem defeated pairs from Loyola Marymount, Georgia State, No. 4 Florida State, No. 9 South Carolina and No. 13 Stetson.
• Overall, Cannon and Martin went 6-1 including two matches in the USC-LMU pairs tournament.
• Cannon and Martin have won 13 matches together including 12 in duals.
• It is the third different pair from USC to win the Conference's weekly honor.
