SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 has named STANFORD’s Brandon Vincent the Men’s Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the Conference office announced today. The award, which is presented in each of the 23 sports the Pac-12 sponsors, was established to honor collegiate student-athletes that are standouts both academically and in their sports discipline.

Vincent, a senior from Valencia, Calif., maintains a 3.26 grade point average (GPA) in economics and was a two time Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention. The defender was a first team NSCAA/Continental All-American, Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year and earned first team All-Pac-12 distinction last year in 2014.
